Jan 9th - pics and map

Everything worked out with the insurance eventually, indeed, Opa does not just roll over when the adjuster resists. But mostly thanks to Joe from Flagg RV, where we bought the RV as well as the insurance. Don't know what he said but the insurance relented. We have checked in at the Valencia Travel Village in Valencia/Castaic, in the foothills of, I dunno. About 45 minutes from the Dixons when the traffic is light like today (Sunday). Nice place out of town but with shopping etc within 5 miles.

I'll add a few more pictures tomorrow, and that will conclude Book One of our travel Saga. Book Two will start when we return, late March. Hopefully at a more leasurely pace, but, same as the trek to CA, weather dependent so we'll have to wait and see...
