This is at the RV park in Tonopah, AZ.
Note the palm trees - earlier, in Lubbock and El Paso, the trunks were wrapped in layers of aluminum and insulation. Of course, that was where there was snow in all the shady spots... From left to right, inside the RV: first the cockpit, then the big slide-out with the lounge first and then the dinette (opposite the kitchen). Not slid out because the kids were already sleeping on this side when we arrived. We did slide the opposite side out. Next the refrigerator opp. the half bath, then the slide-out of the bedroom. At the end, behind the saguaro cactus, is the bathroom. It's an excellent floorplan and we are confident that we won't get claustrophobic, living in it everyday.
Now that we're settling in, Henk goes to work and I have gone on an exploratory bike ride. Also on an exploratory car rides we found a market, hairdresser, Home Depot, WalMart, Toyota dealer, and a very nice church. So "normal" life has started, and we don't need to keep you updated on all that. So until the trip back,
greetings and hugs,
:) Mary and Henk
